Swatch + Review | Fake Lime Crime Velvetines

So for starters. There is so no such as "Singapore Authentic". It only means that it's FAKE, Ladies! (Well unless it is originally made in SG.) Don't get fooled.

Lime Crime is a US brand which was known for their Matte Liquid Lipsticks called "Velvetines". They cost $20 USD each and that's just expensive! I am just a student that is very passionate about makeup so I can't afford that shit. hahaha So out of my desperation of having Velvetines, I've bought other alternatives from LA Girl and MeNow. But I was still not happy. I really wanted to have Lime Crime products so I decided to get these fake ones. (hahaha im so desperate. Sorry!) Plus the seller said it smells like chocolate so that's a plus.

These are the fake versions of LC Velvetines. They were made in Singapore that's why they called it Singapore "Authentic". They are sold at Php 150 each but I got them for Php 100 because I bought 6. It was considered wholesale. So that’s what I really love about this product. It’s too damn cheap! So I got 6 colors, Jinx, Salem, Pink Velvet, Red Velvet, Riot and Cashmere and they are swatched below:

The colors are not as identical with the original ones.

Cashmere - a bit more pinkish than the real one. I was expecting it to be more nude but it wasnt. You might also need more application for its color to be even or else it will be patchy.

Riot & Red Velvet - the colors are fine. both were ALMOST the same as the original ones. The pigment is quite nice for these colors. They are very easy to use. Just with one swipe, the colors quickly shows up.

Pink Velvet - It turned more cool which was supposed to be a warm bright pink. It's neon. This color is not for me. I CAN'T WEAR THIS SHIT! For it's formula, its quite not as pigmented as the others. Its patchy. You really have to do tons of application for it to even out nicely.

Salem - The original one is dark chocolate but for this one, its dark red. I actually thought that it was Wicked but the tag says it's Salem so I didn't get what i was expecting with this one. The consistensy of this one is okay but not as okay as Riot and Red Velvet

Jinx - I like this color! Though it's not as dark as i was expecting. The color is still nice. The only problem wiht this one is, it's a pain in the ass during application. It's very not pigmented. You have to double or triple your application to even out. And also if your lips are moisturized, it will not stick on your lips. Never. So make sure your lips are very, very dry when applying this one.

So to sum this up, I will recommend this fake ones. For it's price its okay. The applicator is very easy to use. They are smudge-proof but not long lasting. You have to re-apply the whole lippie after eating or drinking or after a few hours because it becomes very dry. But us girls, we always go straight to the comfort room to re-touch after eating so thats not much of a problem. But if you're the type of girls that doesnt like re-application. This is not for you.
